An attempt at a daily Journal
Current Anchorage: Miami, Florida

Captains Log sea date May 18, 2010

Lucked out.

Finally was a nice calm morning. Pulled in the old anchor and it was’nt the one that had 20ft of chain on it, but it was wrapped up with another line. Got it on board and started pulling in the other line and it was the one that got cut off. Was about 15ft of line, then 20ft chain then my other big anchor. So relieved. Decided to keep my smaller emergency anchor out and just use 1 of the big ones and use for the spare with new line. Instead of a $250 disaster for new anchor, chian, and line all I lost was A 100ft of line. Still sucks, should have looked at it the same day it happened Webcam will be on every weekend forsure.
